PROFHILO
Profhilo is a unique, anti-ageing skin remodelling treatment made from hyaluronic acid which stimulates collagen and elastin production to address skin that is losing its elasticity and firmness with age.
It is a first of its kind, revolutionary beneath the skin moisturising treatment, made with patented technology. It uses a unique hyaluronic acid injectable gel with a prolonged stimulating activity on the dermal cells. When injected into your skin, Profhilo acts by stimulating the skin cell receptors to counteract any skin laxity and restore and improve skin firmness. Profhilo not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue, giving a significant tightening and lifting effect.
This treatment is most commonly used on the face and neck, but can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area.
PROCEDURE
The hyaluronic acid is injected superficially, just beneath the skin’s surface in specific bio-aesthetics points. It is normal for the injection points to be slightly raised for up to 24 hours, the product should be left to evenly disperse throughout the skin. For best results, we recommend two treatments four weeks apart.
SIDE EFFECTS
Common side effects of Profhilo are similar to other kinds of fillers and include mild bruising and swelling.
RESULTS
You can expect to see results for up to 12 months, including increased hydration, firmness, elasticity and an overall improved quality of your skin.
AFTERCARE
Don’t have any other facial treatments for two weeks following your treatment. You should refrain from touching, rubbing or applying makeup to the treated areas for 12 hours. Avoid any exercise for 48 hours and direct sun exposure and heat for 72 hours.
